Aja Gabel is a writer living and teaching in Houston, TX. Her fiction can be
found in the  New England Review, the Southeast Review, Bat City Review
and elsewhere. She is currently in the PhD program in literature and creative
writing at the University of Houston, and is a Fiction Editor at Gulf Coast.
